Casblanca Holidays For The Gourmet

With a clear French influence the food in Casablanca was always going to be world class. Fans of French style seafood should head toward Le Port de Peche next to the customs house, which offers wonderful fish at reasonable prices. More centrally the cuisine moves on to an elegant Moroccan fare offering hearty tajines and stews. Towards the south you find alternative cuisine, and if you want Asian food, Restaurant le Tonkin is recommended.

After Dark In Casablanca

Casablanca’s nightlife is, like much of the city, a world of sophisticated wine bars head to head with more lively watering holes. Try heading to the suave central Casablanca hotels, before moving onto a couple of refined drinking spots on the Place Mohammed V. Finally, head to the Corniche at Ain Dab, which is full of live music venues and chic bars.

Beach Holidays In Casablanca

Casablanca boasts many fine beaches, with plenty of excellent spots to relax and soak up the sun. One of the best is Ain Diab, which has an interesting urban vibe to it, as it’s a favourite spot of many local celebrities and ‘in the know’ types. Although there is a touristy vibe to many of the beaches around here, this does mean that there are a variety of water sports to enjoy as an alternative to the simple pleasures of sunbathing.
