Riad Sheherazade has been created in typical Andalucian/Arabic architectural style after an amazing restoration of this former 19th century palace in the Batha quarter of Fés Medina, close to all the principal monuments of the city.

Ornate and accurate to historical style, this beautiful riad has great character and the original building has some old, steep and sometimes uneven steps linking the individually styled and furnished rooms. The garden fountains and the scented flowers accentuate the palatial style, and the colonnaded arcades and domed ceilings are reminiscent of an Arabian Nights tale. The elaborately decorated courtyard has traditional blue and white tiling and is the venue for occasional musical entertainment. The typical Andalucian garden is planted with palms beside the courtyard, leading to the swimming pool.

Breakfast can be served in your room or on the attractive rooftop terrace and an elaborate dinner menu combines traditional cuisine with modern influences in the two gastronomic restaurants, which are amongst Fés’ best!
