As you arrive at the Quinta Bela Vista, the feeling is of arriving at a delightful country house. Located on a hillside above the centre of Funchal (3km), the hotel is surrounded by five acres of exquisite mature gardens. The original manor house was built in 1844.

Since becoming a hotel, a separate wing has been added and is now the main building. The elegant style of the original house has been carefully continued throughout the hotel, enhanced by the owners’ collection of charming antiques and fine paintings.

Rooms are individually decorated and the manor house provides the perfect option for groups as you can book the rooms there exclusively.
