Hotel Description

The Quinta do Furão has a truly idyllic setting with magnificent views all around – of ocean, rugged coastline and Madeira’s highest mountains.

Guests come here to relax and get away from the bustle of daily life. Inside, the decor is classical with pretty fabrics and attractive wooden furnishing.

The atmosphere is peaceful as you settle on the terrace with a book or take a stroll through the vineyard. Attractive stone buildings house the hotel bar (in the style of a British pub) and wine cellar, where you can taste the local wines. Down at the bottom of the gardens you’ll find the hotel’s cliff-top restaurant – delicious food and more delightful views!

The small village of Santana, famed for its pretty thatched cottages, is a short walk away or alternatively take one of the many paths along the coast or up into the mountains.
